2017 November Faithbox CONNECTION
When we think of the word Connection, our minds likely think of something like a Wifi signal. Few things are as frustrating as having a poor connection and not being able to access the content or information on the other side. It’s the world we live in. Technology has become the lens through which we view the world.
Imagine though, if that’s how frustrated we are when it comes to a poor connection with technology, how much more frustrated are we when we experience poor connections in our relationships?
God has hardwired us for us connection! We were made to know, to be known, and to cherish the bonds we create. We were made in God’s image with the need for connection and to operate in relationship others
November's 2017 Faithbox is a journey of connection, we pray that God will open up doors of opportunity in your life, soothe hurts and heal wounds, and cultivate the best possible connections you could hope for!
What's in the 2017 November Faithbox:
Come with your brokenness, your celebration, and your worries, but most of all come and eat.
Come and Eat, Book by Bri McKoy
In today’s busy and often superficial world, we all crave something deeper and truer. Maybe it’s relationships that go beyond the surface or gatherings that allow for joy and pain. Though it may feel nearly impossible, what we desire is actually within reach! All we need is a table, open hearts, and a simple invitation: come and eat. Come and Eat offers recipes along with questions to jump start conversation, while reminding us that connection with God and others is the most cherished nourishment. When we make room for others, we make room for God, and our homes become a vibrant source of life and connection. **Purchase additional books

Turn off the phones and gather around for a classic game!
Remember back in the day when connecting with people involved sitting around a table, or on the floor, and playing a board game or doing an activity? Those were the days before we were consumed with our mobile devices and glued to social media. For all of the good and the increased connection technology has given us, it seems like we’ve lost the art of sitting in a room playing a game, laughing, and having fun together.
